Hey, thanks for stopping by! We are Mónica García & Oliver Green, founders of Verdonce and known by our friends as “The Green Family”. We want to tell you a little bit about our story and how we can help you.

For many years we have taken an active stand on climate change, being involved in sustainable transport activism. In 2012 we were awarded the ConBici prize for sustainable mobility. Then in 2018, aware of the need to drastically reduce plastic waste in the planet, we decided to roll up our sleeves. We set about seriously reducing single use packaging in our home, starting with single use plastic.
This is exactly why, one late summer evening, Mónica dusted down her sewing machine and began making our first reusable cloth bags. This helped us do our shopping unpacked from local bulk stores and fruit shops. Our household waste went down rapidly and a lot of recycling became unnecessary. We never looked back from that moment.
We want to help you live a healthier and more sustainable life
Soon after, we realised there were many more people in similar situations to ours wanting to make a difference by making positive changes to their lives. That’s when we decided to launch Verdonce with the aim of helping people like you who are looking for sustainable and authentic products for your homes.
A minimalist way of life – are you in?
At Verdonce we are committed to a zero waste life philosophy that helps you live in a more sustainable, responsible, conscious and ultimately, healthier way. All our products are completely free of plastic and made by hand in Madrid. Mónica and I carefully select only natural vegan fabrics like jute, recycled cotton, linen and hemp from trusted, local suppliers. We made an important decision early on not use any materials of animal origin. Animals should not suffer for our benefit, so the entire Verdonce range is PETA Approved Vegan. We hope you will join us on this journey.
