Recycled cotton is highly sustainable because we upcycle cotton that already exists, breaking it down and spinning new yarns. This means 0% water usage, 0% chemical products and far lower CO2 emissions. Food Safe Our recycled cotton has been tested as a food contact material. It's the same cotton that we use in our reusable produce bags bags. It means you can have total peace of mind using our baskets to put your bread in or other dry food items. Social impact Our table linens and baskets are ethically handcrafted in Madrid by women in vulnerable situations. This means that behind each stitch there is a person working in dignified conditions, who receives a fair wage for her labour and has the chance of a better future.
