Ethically crafted in Spain
We carefully make our aprons in Spain by hand using high quality beige and light brown striped recycled cotton fabric. We source the GRS certified recycled cotton from a specialist local mill, further reducing the environmental impact.
Sustainable and hypoallergenic fabrics
Recycled cotton avoids the use of virgin cotton by upcycling existing cotton that would be discarded. This reduces waste and saves a huge amount of water, CO2 and energy associated with cotton cultivation.
The straps are made of 100% natural hemp fibre with long ties to cross-over behind and re-tie at the front. Hemp is an extremely strong and durable fibre and requires little irrigation. Being hemp the straps are hypoallergenic, soft and very pleasant to the touch. So you can use the apron if you have delicate skin or allergy problems.
Comfortable and useful design for working in the kitchen or at home
The apron has an ample front pocket with two compartments. This comes in handy when cooking or crafting to have your mobile at hand and to hold utensils or tools.
100% composed of natural plant fibers. Suitable for vegans
This eco apron is made exclusively from natural vegetable fibers, avoiding any type of material of animal origin. It is completely vegan friendly and recyclable or compostable at the end of its life.
Minimalist unisex style
Following our minimalist, zero waste philosophy, this is a unisex apron with a clean, modern yet timeless design. We deliberately avoided using any metal pieces in its construction to lower the environmental impact, avoid fuss and make it easier to wash. If you require a custom size just get in touch and we’ll make it for you.
You can wear the apron in two ways. The long hemp straps allow you to tie it behind or cross-over behind and re-tie at the front. Either way it fits great and looks very stylish. The waist straps also allow you to hang your kitchen towel or oven gloves.
How to care for and wash your eco apron?
Wash by hand or in the washing machine at a maximum temperature of 30º on a delicate cycle. We prewash the cotton before making our aprons so, despite being cotton, the fabric will not shrink in your first wash as happens with an unwashed cotton garment.
We recommend steam ironing it for a perfect finish and for greater disinfection.
Do not use the tumble dryer or aggressive cleaning products such as bleach or fabric whitener.
Packaging & shipping
Like all products in our collection, we package and ship your eco apron plastic free. We only use non-toxic cardboard boxes or envelopes that can be recycled and / or reused. To seal your parcel we use environmentally sustainable paper adhesive tape as an alternative to plastic based tape.
