If you enjoy cooking or doing other handicrafts at home, this recycled cotton apron is an ideal compliment. It helps you work more comfortably and hygienically while preventing you from splashing or staining your clothes.
Ethically crafted in Spain
We carefully make our aprons in Spain by hand using high quality recycled cotton fabric. We source our GRS certified recycled cotton from a specialist local mill, further reducing the environmental impact. If you require a bespoke size, just get in touch and we’ll make it for you.
Recycled cotton
Recycled cotton avoids the use of virgin cotton altogether by upcycling existing cotton that would otherwise go to landfill. This reduces waste and saves huge quantities of water. During the manufacturing process no water is used, no chemicals are added and there is no direct emission of CO2 into the atmosphere. For added peace of mind, our GRS recycled cotton is certified Food Safe.
Herringbone weave hemp straps
The straps are made of 100% natural European hemp. They are long enough to cross over behind and tie at the front. Hemp is an extremely strong and hardy plant that does not require irrigation, pesticides or herbicides to grow. The herringbone weave means they are flexible and very pleasant to the touch and get softer and even more beautiful over time. Our hemp is completely natural, it has not been dyed or treated with chemicals and it is hypoallergenic.
Comfortable and useful design for working in the kitchen or at home
The apron has an ample front pocket with two compartments. This is really useful when cooking or crafting to keep your mobile at hand and to hold utensils or tools.
Suitable for vegans
This sustainable apron is made exclusively from natural plant fibres, avoiding any type of material of animal origin. Like all our products, it is completely vegan and can be easily recycled or composted at the end of its life.
Minimalist unisex style
Following our minimalist, zero waste philosophy, this is a unisex apron with a clean, modern and yet timeless design. We deliberately avoided using any metal pieces in its construction to lower the environmental impact, avoid fuss and make it easier to wash. If you require a custom size just get in touch and we’ll make it for you.
You can wear the apron in two ways. The long hemp straps allow you to tie it behind or cross them over behind and tie at the front. Either way it fits great and looks very stylish. The waist straps also allow you to hang your kitchen towel or oven gloves.
Packaging & shipping
Like all products in our collection, we package and ship your eco apron plastic free. We only use unbleached cardboard boxes that can be recycled or reused. To seal your parcel we use paper adhesive tape as an alternative to plastic based tape.
